Powered by impeccable performances, great storyline and deft direction by Priyadarshan, Hungama is remembered even today and receives a huge viewership whenever premiered on television.

After 17 years of the original film, Priyadarshan is coming up with Hungama 2. Those who are familiar with his great work in Bollywood are expecting nothing but yet another laugh riot on 14th August 2020 when Hungama 2 arrives in cinemas with a bang.

Talking about the star cast, Hungama 2 stars Meezaan Jaffery, Pranitha Subhash, Shilpa Shetty and Paresh Rawal, whose character was one of the highlights of Hungama. Yesterday, the makers dropped the first poster of the film, which went viral in no time. The film reunites filmmaker Priyadarshan with producer Ratan Jain of Venus after a long gap.

Priyadarshan, who has to his credit a series of successful comic-capers like Hera Pheri (2000) Hulchul (2005), Garam Masala (2005), and De Dhana Dhan (209), says that it has been 17 years since Hungama released and it is still remembered by the audiences. The filmmaker adds that he is happy to collaborate with producer Ratan Jain yet again after Hulchul and Garam Masala, and is excited to bring back this laugh riot to the big screen with double laughter and entertainment.

Producer Ratan Jain says that Hungama has been one of the most iconic comedy entertainers of its times and reminisced across age groups. He adds that at Venus, they are super excited to revive this franchise brand on the big screen.
