After a huge gap of 2.5 years, superstar Hrithik Roshan finally returns to grace the silver screen with his much-talked-about film Super 30, which opened to positive response earlier today. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie is a biographical drama based on the eventful life of award-winning mathematician Anand Kumar, who is known for his Super 30 program for economically backward IIT aspirants.
After Super 30, Hrithik Roshan was expected to team up with father Rakesh Roshan to commence work on the next installment of Krrish 4. However, since the project is still at the writing table, it will take some time before taking off, which means Junior Roshan has no project in his hand at the movement.
Rumors have been rife lately that the superstar has given his nod to star in Farah Khan’s upcoming directorial venture, which is believed to be an official remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s cult film Satte Pe Satta (1983). Several media outlets have reported that HR will play the male lead in the remake, while Deepika Padukone has been roped in to play the female part, originally played by Hema Malini.
However, the Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000) who is gearing up to complete two decades in Bollywood, has denied all speculations.
Meanwhile, Roshan’s fans are happy to see him back on screen in Super 30. As mentioned earlier, the movie has largely received many positive responses from critics and word of mouth is also great so far. Super 30 is expected to be one of the biggest hits of the actor’s career.
