However, if fresh reports are to be believed, Stree is being developed as a trilogy franchise. Filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K, popularly known as Raj & D.K, confirm the same in their recent interview. The duo divulges that they will soon be rolling out a sequel to Stree as well as their 2013 zombie hit Go Goa Gone.

The duo also opened up about the failure of the Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer A Gentleman (2017). They say that they are yet to figure out why the movie did not click with the audience, despite being an action entertainer.
