As the couple is celebrating their 46th wedding, Amitabh Bachchan shares a heart-touching love story with wife Jaya.

Today, Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 46th sapphire wedding anniversary. On a very special occasion, the actor has shared his inspiring love story with wife Jaya Bachchan on his Instagram, which has changed his life entirely.

Talking about the turning point in his life, Amitabh Bachchan said he arrived the conclusion to get married in 1973 when he and Jaya wanted to go to London for a vacation with friends. His father, however, only approved him to go if he would tie the knot with Jaya. At that time, Big B and Jaya were dating for quite a long time.

In the meantime, he promised his friends that if his film Zanjeer became a big hit, he would then travel to London with them.

Therefore, both Amitabh and Jaya decided to walk down the aisle to catch the flight to London the next day.

In the past, Amitabh Bachchan and his wife also co-starred in various film such as Silsila, Sholay, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham, Abhimaan... The golden couple of Bollywood has blessed with son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan.

On the work front, Amitabh will soon to be seen in thriller film Chehre which is expected to hit the cinema on February 2020.
