Rather than coinciding with Kangana’s film, Abhishek’s upcoming movie will be clashing with father Amitabh Bachchan’s release.

After leaving no stone unturned for the comeback film Manmarziyaan last year, Abhishek Bachchan is all set for his next venture. The actor is recently busy with shooting for Anurag Basu’s next which is an action comedy starring Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapur.

In fact, the film is yet to get an official title, though its release date has been altered several times. Initially, the makers went publicity to announce that it will be releasing on 24 January 2020 which is bound to clash with Kangana Ranaut’s Panga. However, the movie has got its new release date 21 February 2020. Rather than coinciding with Kangana’s film, Abhishek’s upcoming movie will be clashing with father’s release.

The public is likely to witness a father vs son clash at the box office. However, considering the date of the film going on floors recently, it’s expected that Chehre’s makers might shift the release date. On the other hand, neither Abhishek nor Amitabh wants their film eating into the business of each other.

The father-son duo has collaborated in several films like Sarkar, Paa, Bunty Aur Babli and more. If nothing changes, the Bachchans are about to have a theatrical run competition for the first time.
