Earth Day's celebration, which falls on April 22nd annually, reminds us of the importance of our planet and its ecosystems. As it is a real opportunity to raise public awareness of environmental issues, our favorite Bollywood stars certainly did not miss this precious chance.

Last Monday, many celebrities including Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra among other Bollywood stars took to social media to raise their voices to urge admirers to protect the planet.

While Sonam Kapoor spoke up about conservation, Anushka Sharma shared a lengthy note on this occasion, pointing out that coexistence should be a motto in our life.

We all know how Alia Bhatt loves animals as she takes part in an animal welfare campaign Coexist. On this occasion of Earth Day, she also uploaded an edited scene from The Lion King along with the caption "No Lion, No King." The Kalank actress stressed the fact that coexisting is the first step to protect the animals.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha shared a photo of herself standing on a boat, enjoying the peaceful and beautiful moment of the sea. Along with the picture, the actress reminded fan to take care of our blue planet, not only for today but for every day.

Another Bollywood star, Sidharth Malhotra, also posted a photo of himself walking along the beach via his social media account. He believed that it would be scary if we could not see the natural beauty in our future someday. The Hasee Toh Phasee actor encouraged people to protect the environment in their way.

Arjun Kapoor also raised his voice in a short but powerful message on his Twitter account. The actor mentioned that there is no other planet like our Mother Earth, and we have to do our bit to protect it.

Actress Dia Mirza, who is the face of several Indian environmental campaigns, wrote about saying no to plastics.
