Deepika Receives An Adorable Bracelet After Her Visit To Ex-Lover Ranbir Kapoor's Parents In New York

After marking the prominent appearance at 2019 Met Gala on May 6, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone continued her New York itinerary with a visit to the former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor's parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor.

Currently, Rishi Kapoor is undergoing medical treatment for his illness in New York City. After battling cancer in New York for the last eight months, the veteran actor is now "cancer free" and expected to be back to India soon. Ranbir Kapoor told IANS as talking about his father's health in a recent event:

However, the incident didn't end on such a simple visit. After the special meeting, Deepika took to the Instagram story to share a picture of a cute bracelet. Presumably, it is the particular present which is a word of thanks to her sweet gesture from Ranbir’s mom Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Alongside the bracelet is her lovely caption, “With blessings and good wishes...”

A few years back, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor reportedly began their romance during their collaboration in 2008 Bachna Ae Haseeno. However, their relationship only lasted for almost two years after deciding to separate sometime in 2009.

After their break-up, the two continued co-starring with each other in two more flicks including 2013 Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaniand 2015 Tamasha. Even after her marriage to Ranveer Singh, Deepika and Ranbir still marked their joint appearance and their cute chemistry in an earlier advertisement.

Presently, Deepika found the sheer happiness in the marriage to Ranveer Singh in November 2018 after the six-year relationship, whereas Ranbir Kapoor is currently in a romantic relationship with Alia Bhatt.

In an earlier episode of Karan Johar's talk show, the 33-year-old actress poured out his heart about the ex-relationship with the Brahmastra actor, "I think it only gets better and I think it couldn’t have gotten better. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I think the relationship we share today is what I value the most and I don’t think it could have been in a better place," confided Deepika.

On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will next appear in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will co-star with his girlfriend, Alia Bhatt in Brahmastra and next seen in Shamshera alongside Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
