Deepika Padukone Is The Reason Ranveer Singh Stops Endorsing Condom?

Ranveer Singh, who has been the popular face for Durex for a long time, is said to be ending his contract. His marriage with Deepika Padukone and demand for a higher fee may be the reasons.

Ranveer Singh, roped in as the brand ambassador of a popular condom brand Reckitt Benckiser five years ago, will no longer be endorsing it. A source close to Ranveer revealed, "Both agreed to part ways amicably.''

Though the Gully Boy’s demanding a higher endorsement fee might be a potential reason for ending their collaboration, his new ‘married’ status to Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone - could have a bearing on the termination of the contract.

On Ranveer Singh - Deepika Padukone high-profile wedding on November last year, condom brand Durex congratulated the duo with a sassy message. The ad read,

From condoms to cars, and from noodles to online shopping, Ranveer Singh is endorsing a range of brands these days. It’s a clear indication of his popularity among the youth and the kind of impact he is made both as the person as well as the personality.

Ranveer made headlines for being the first mainstream Bollywood actor to endorse a condom brand. His #DoTheRex campaign was hugely popular.

Ranveer Singh is currently going through the best phase in his film career. His last three his movie, PadmaavatSimmba and Gully Boy, brought him became big hits at the box-office. He is also prepping for his role in Kabir Khan’s ‘83. 

Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, will be seen in Chhapaak, a film based on the story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
