Daisy Shah Excited About Her Debut In Gujarati Cinema

Daisy Shah, choreographer-turned-actress, made her acting debut with Salman Khan’s Jai Ho in 2014. She is now set to enter Gujarati cinema with an upcoming film.

Daisy Shah, just like the rest of us, is currently staying at home, practising self-isolation and quarantining. She is also devoting a lot of her free time to do household chores and cooking. Though she is not pro at cooking, she is utilizing her free time in become one.

On the work front, Daisy Shah will soon be making her debut in Gujarati cinema. For the unversed, the choreographer-turned-actress is a Gujarati herself. During a conversation with an entertainment portal, Shah speaks about her upcoming projects and much more.

She tells the publication that before Prime Minister Narendra Modi imposed the lockdown, she had completed the shoot for her upcoming Gujarati film, titled See You In Court. Now that the shooting of the film has already been wrapped up, the actress will soon work on its dubbing.

Daisy Shah reveals that as soon as the lockdown is lifted, she will straightaway jump into finishing the dubbing and once that is done, she will immediately start another project which is called Bulbul Marriage Hall.

To be directed by Rohit Nayyar, Bulbul Marriage Hall will be produced by superstar Salman Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films. It is a romantic comedy film and also features Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda in important roles. The makers were all set to begin production by 20th April, 2020, but because of the lockdown, the movie is going to get pushed by at least a month.

Talking further about the film, See You In Court, Daisy Shah says that it revolves around a kid who is having tough times because his parents have decided to file for a divorce and he does not want his parents to get divorced. And so, on the flip side, he goes and files a case against them saying that if they want a divorce, why did they make him? The actress plays the character of the child psychologist.
