Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Bharat is recently one of the hottest topics of discussion on social media and the film is also doing wonders at the ticket window. The Eid release is showered with praises for the flawless performances of the cast, but what raised a storm of controversy is none other than Salman Khan’s on-screen mother portrait by actress Sonali Kulkarni.
In fact, her performance got a positive response though she came under fire for playing a mother role to someone even older than her.
Sonali, 44, in a recent interview, expressed her opinion over the same. She said,
The actress further made the revelation that this isn’t the first time she became a mother of someone older than her as she used to play Hrithik Roshan’s mom in the film Mission Kashmir (2000) and of course, that has no qualms in doing so.
Speaking of the success of Bharat, the film hits the Rs 100 crore milestone in the domestic box office just on the day 4 of its theatrical run. Not only this, but Bharat also becomes a record-breaking film when shattered several records simultaneously including Salman Khan’s highest opener, 14th Rs 100 crore film of Salman Khan, highest Bollywood day one grosser of 2019, the second-highest opener of 2019.
