Anushka Sharma is currently considered one of the most successful young stars in the Bollywood industry. Sharma is not only doing great as an actor but even as a producer. Though her latest projects including Jab Harry Met Sejal and Pari didn't gain success as expected, the big hit from Sui Dhaaga still remains her top-billed actors position in Bollywood industry. And the Internet exploded with news that Anushka and cricketer Virat Kohli tied the knot in a hush-hush wedding in Italy as both of them had kept their relationship private before.
Before the release of her upcoming film Zero, Anushka spilled the beans on her personal and professional life from relationship with actor Shah Rukh Khan, pregnancy rumours, doing two-heroine film, and work-life balance.
When asked about the changes after her one-year wedding with Virat Kohli, she revealed, “When you are two individuals who are really busy and accomplishing a lot in your respective lives, your marriage is as normal as normal can be. That’s how it is for everybody.”
She also shared that the thought of marriage affecting her career prospects had never come across her mind. When people trust in themselves and cherish their own values, these concepts become nonsense.
Regarding pregnancy rumors, she said it was just the old-fashioned conception that people think it should be, "because you are married, it doesn’t’ mean that the next step is to go the family way."
Speaking about her relationship with Shah Rukh Khan, she said that her debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan in 2008 changed her life. On completion of 10 years to the release of highly successful romantic film RNBDJ, she shared it had never occurred in her life. Co-starring with SRK was one of the most special moment that imprinted on her mind.
She also objected to the opinions that sharing screen space with two heroines in her films - Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan affects her decision making. She defended that all she is thinking about when it comes to deciding on a film is the character is characters. "whether it is a solo heroine or a two heroines film, it doesn't matter to me", Anushka clarified. Meanwhile, she did Dil Dhadakne Do, just because she wanted to work with Zoya Akhtar.
Anushka will be seen in upcoming film Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Zero is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
