Anurag Kashyap has directed Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a couple of films before, including "Gangs of Wasseypur" and "Raman Raghav 2.0". He will now share the screen space with the talented actor in the upcoming film "Bole Chudiyan".

Anurag Kashyap is not new to acting. We have seen him showing his acting abilities in a number of movies including I Am (2010), Shagird (2011) and Akira (2016), to name just a few. The filmmaker-actor has now signed yet another movie as an actor.

Yes, you heard that absolutely right! Anurag Kashyap has given his nod to feature in the upcoming film, Bole Chudiyan. The flick stars immensely talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role.

Interestingly, Anurag Kashyap has directed Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a number of films before, including Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1 (2012), Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 2 (2012) and Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016). But now the duo has teamed up together as actors.

For the uninitiated, Kashyap and Nawaz first worked together on the National Award-winning film, Shool (1999), where the former had written the dialogues and the latter had a brief appearance.

When Anurag Kashyap was contacted, he confirmed being a part of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Bole Chudiyan. “Yes, I am doing the film but that’s all I know for now. I have agreed to do the film as this is the first time Nawaz has asked me to do anything and I trust him,” said the filmmaker-actor.

Anurag is presently busy with his upcoming directorial venture. The untitled film recently mounted the shooting floor in Mumbai. It is toplined by Saiyami Kher and marks the Hindi film debut of Malayalam actor Roshan Mathew.

Meanwhile, the makers of Bole Chudiyan are currently looking for the leading lady of their film. Initially, Mouni Roy, who made a successful transition from television to films, was signed to romance Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film. However, the actress recently walked out of the project citing creative differences. Bole Chudiyan marks the directorial debut of Nawaz’s brother, Shamas Siddiqui.
