Anil Kapoor shared openly about the late actor Sridevi, who co-acted with him in lots of big hits in the 1980s and early 1990s, during the shooting for his upcoming project, Star Plus’ Dance Plus 4.
The death of Sridevi was a great loss for not only India entertainment but also millions of fans all over the world. Every reference to Sridevi sees a variety of emotions. Her family, husband Boney Kapoor, daughter Janhvi Kapoor, and step-son Arjun Kapoor have shared openly about the late actress for the last one year. Recently, Anil Kapoor has shot for a so-called Sridevi Tribute episode of Star Plus’ Dance Plus 4.
On sharing his feeling about the late actress, Anil said that every time he met Sridevi, he touched her feet as a respect action. This made Sridevi extremely embarrassed and asked him to stop weird action. According to Spotboye, Anil would sit and watch Sridevi's shooting though he was actually not involved in that scene. Reportedly, Anil felt the scene would become much more beautiful having the appearance of Sridevi.
Sridevi drew her last breath on February 24, 2018 in Dubai.
Emotionally, Anil shared his own thought about Sridevi: "As an artist, I feel blessed to have worked with Sridevi ji and she had a huge contribution to my career. She was an actor with immeasurable talent who could fill the screen with her magic. We shouldn’t remember her with sadness and rather celebrate her brilliance as a performer with love, affection, and joy."
After nearly 10 months after the death of Sridevi, no one believes that the famous and talented actor had passed away. Her death was a big shock to the world believe. After having attended the wedding of her husband's nephew, actor Mohit Marwah, the late actress decided to stay in Dubai for shopping instead of returning to India with her family. On that fateful day, Boney, her husband, took a flight to Dubai and the couple was preparing to go out for dinner. Reportedly, the late actress went to a restroom and wasn't seen coming back after 15 minutes. Boney broke the door and found Sridevi lying immobility in a water-filled bathtub. The accident occurred on February 24 at Dubai’s Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel.
Facing such a dreadful tragedy, Janhvi, Sridevi's daughter, shared: "there’s gnawing hollowness in my chest that I know I have to learn to live with."
Appeared at the International Film Festival of India, Janhvi emotionally shared that 2018 was a year that has brought her both sadness and happiness. "It’s harder to say anything... When I say ‘growth’, I mean personal growth, I don’t know about artistic. This year brought me both the worst and the best experience of my life. It’s a little strange... Our family is now united, so that is very big thing for me."
"But whatever happened that too was very heavy (tragedy). We are still in shock, so we haven’t been able to process it properly. I’m really thankful for all the love that we have received and I got a chance to work, which is a big thing for me. I got a chance to make my parents proud, which is most important for me.", she added.
Also, Sridevi's husband has recently shared his life after the tragic: "Today this vacuum, this void cannot be replaced but the good wishes and the goodwill that she has left behind is something that we can live with... She is with me, in my memories...with my children. I feel the loss of her every second of my life, not just me even my children do. This is something that we have to live with. Unfortunately, she was snatched away from us sooner than anybody expected."
