Amitabh Bachchan becomes the Hindi movie industry’s highest taxpayer. As reported, he has paid the Rs-70-crore tax in the fiscal year between 2018 and 2019.

The official spokesperson of the actor also confirmed the same and spoke in a statement, “Yes, Mr. Bachchan has paid 70 Crores as the tax for the financial year 2018-19.”

Big B also paid off the loans of 2084 farmers from Muzaffarpur city which located in Bihar, respectively. It is suggested by reports that Amitabh Bachchan wished to help out the country’s farmers by providing as much money freedom as he could. Hence, the actor made up his mind to show his kindness by paying off farmers’ loans. 

Amitabh was also among the 1st Bollywood star to donate to the martyr's families who were victims in the horrendous Pulwama terror attacks. He reportedly asked the government of India to assist him in providing the details of family members in the horrible attacks. For more particular, he donated to the martyr's families each Rs 10 lakh.

Without a doubt, Amitabh Bachchan gains the industry’s most-respected status already for what he has done.

As regards his film career, the actor witnessed a ticket office run along with the movie Badla which is under the direction of Sujoy Ghosh. This thriller drama movie reunited Amitabh with Taapsee Pannu.

Currently, he is all set for Brahmastra - a great fantasy movie which is based on a supernatural weapon - Brahmastra. Ayan Mukerji was responsible for directing the film which also stars Ranbir  Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the pivotal role. It is a trilogy in which its first part is expected to come to theaters this year on December 20th.
