Akshay Kumar took to his social media to send a special thank to Kiren Rijiju who come to defense of him in Canadian citizenship controversy.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju recently come to the defense of Akshay Kumar amid Canadian citizenship controversy.

Recently, the actor has been receiving a lot of backlash over his Canadian passport. After that, Akshay Kumar shed light on the matter and also received support from his industry friends such as Anupam Kher.

The Union Minister also extended his support to Akshay Kumar in his latest post; he tweeted:
