Akshay Kumar Reacts On Kangana Ranaut Controversy, Wants The Issue To Get Resolved

Akshay Kumar unveiled the trailer of his film Mission Mangal in Mumbai. The entire star cast including Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari and Sonakshi Sinha were present during the launch.

While reacting to questions raised by the journalists about Kangana Ranaut's controversy, actor Akshay Kumar termed the relations between media and actors to be like a husband and wife relationship.

He also said that he wanted the issue to get resolved soon.

Akshay Kumar said, “Media and ek actor mein gehra sambandh hai, miyan-biwi jaisa sambandh. I hope that it gets resolved soon kyunki hamein aapki bahut zaroorat hai. Main toh yehi samajhta hoon ki media ke through hi hum apni baatein keh sakte hain aur aapko vice versa. So I hope that it gets resolved waise mujhe iske bare mein zyada pata nahi hai, but I hope the issue gets resolved soon."

Kangana Ranaut has not stopped attacking media persons and was recently in Delhi for giving interviews to the news channels. Kangana addressed the questions by the journalists regarding the controversy and claimed that she is targeting a "section" of media.

She has remained adamant on her words that she will not apologize to the media fraternity. She has threatened to approach the Press Council of India to seek relief from the media ban in Mumbai.

The actor was also asked about the controversy surrounding the first poster of Mission Mangal which was released earlier. Reports had claimed that the actresses in the movie were upset for not getting due importance in the film poster.

Akshay Kumar rubbished such reports and said, “We are extremely happy about the picture. We are all very happy about it. I have said it earlier too that this film belongs to these ladies.”
