"Bharat": Take A Look At Salman Khan And Katrina Kaif’s Evolution Through The Years

Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2005)

The rom-com flick brought Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan together for the first time. It also featured Sushmita Sen and Sohail Khan in the significant roles and became one of the 2005’s highest grossing movies. While Katrina and Salman’s characters couldn’t end up being together in the film, the two left an unforgettable impression in the audiences’ hearts with their crackling chemistry and outstanding performances.

Yuvvraaj (2008)

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan shared the screen space again after a gap of three years in the Subhash Ghai directorial Yuvvraaj. Katrina plays Anushka Banton, a beautiful woman who is madly in love with Deven (Salman Khan) but refuses to get married to him unless her dad accepts them willingly.

In the movie, Salman Khan had long tresses while Katrina Kaif looked like a princess from a fairytale with curly hair. Although the film failed to perform well at the box office, their sizzling chemistry was highly appreciated by fans, especially in the two songs, Tu Hi Toh Meri Dost Hain and Tu Muskura.

Ek Tha Tiger (2012)

Salkat, which is an affectionate nickname given by fans, is one of the most favorite on-screen pairs in Bollywood. Fans had always wanted to see them reuniting onscreen and patiently waited for the two stars to announce their upcoming collaboration together. Therefore, it’s no surprise when filmmaker Kabir Khan confirmed that Katrina and Salman were in talks for an action movie together, their fans went crazy.

Ek Tha Tiger follows Tiger (Salman Khan), who is conducting a mission in northern Iraq. He tries to befriend Zoya (Katrina Kaif) to extract information but gradually grows closer to her. The film garnered many positive reviews and set numerous box-office records during its theatrical run. Katrina and Salman were all praise for their chemistry and performances, which were one of the crucial parts of the movie’s big success.

For those who don’t know, Katrina had to go through intense training for her action scenes in the movie. We also need to talk about Salman’s perfectly muscled body, which can make us fall in love with him all over again.

Tiger Zinda Hai (2017)

Their on-screen reunion in Tiger Zinda Hai proved to be fruitful as the film was the second highest grossing Bollywood film of 2017. The movie sees Tiger and Zoya living in Innsbruck with their son after eight years of escape. While Salman looked hefty and had a French beard and cropped hair for the role, Katrina worked her way to an athletic physique.

Bharat (2019)

After two years, Katrina and Salman will be back together in Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, which is a remake of a Korean movie named An Ode To My Father. The film will see them sporting in different looks as their characters will age from their teens to their 60s. It is all set to release on 5th June 2019, and we hope that the two will make a splash on the big screen once again!
