TV Actor Randeep Rai: "I Would Love To Do Web Series And Films"

Television actor Randeep Rai who is famous from his TV soap Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat hints about his availability to take up a web series. Recently, the news broke about the actor bagging his first ever big screen contract through Saroj Ka Rishta is all keen to make his presence felt on the web too. Famous Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor's step-sister Sanah Kapoor is playing the lead role of the lead actress in the film.

Starting his career in 2014, actor Randeep Rai had first appeared in Channel V's TV series O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya. He played the role Kabir Scindia in the series. With more than 120 television commercials under his name, the actor shot to fame with Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat. He plays the role of Sameer Maheshwari in the series.

Randeep Rai is turning 26 today and the actor is celebrating his birthday in a very closed affair only with his family and friends in Jhansi, his hometown. On asking about whether he had signed any projects for web the actor replied to IANS, "I have been approached for a couple of (movie) projects, but I believe in doing one thing at a time with complete dedication. At present, I want to give my 100 percent to Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. However, I would love to be a part of web series and films after the show".

Talking about his Bollywood debut Saroj Ka Rishta, the film is helmed by Abhishek Saxena. According to multiple reports, the film will revolve around the serious issue of body shaming in India. The film will also show a strong father-daughter relationship. The film will start it's shooting from July in different locations in Ghaziabad and Mawana.

It would be very interesting to see what projects would the actor sign and how soon will he enter the web world of entertainment.
