Talking to an entertainment portal, Shaheer Sheikh revealed that his heart is brimming with pride because of sister. For the uninitiated, his sister is a doctor. She is currently fighting the COVID-19 battle on the frontline by treating patients infected with the deadly virus.

Talking about his sister and other medical professionals, who are selflessly serving the nation during these trying times, Shaheer Shaikh said that his sister is currently posted in a hospital in the city of Jammu. Despite being a mother of a three-year-old daughter, she has been doing her duty with dedication ever since the Coronavirus lockdown was announced.

The Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor said that though his family is worried about her safety, he is also very proud of her. He added that the frontline warriors such as doctors, police and nurses are risking their lives to protect everyone. He hoped and prayed that India win the war against Coronavirus and things return to normalcy soon. We hope the same.
