Although Niti’s fans are all excited about it, many Ishqbaaaz’s fans have been upset about its leap and Surbhi Chandna leaving the show. When being asked if it’s okay to be criticised, Niti replied that she didn’t care about that. She understood that the fans had a deep connection with the previous characters Shivaay and Annika, but she wasn’t replacing them as her role was an entirely new one. In the new season of Ishqbaaaz, actress Manjiri Pupala played as the female lead, but the chemistry between her and Nakuul wasn’t so successful. With the fans giving negative comments about the show, the producers had to introduce a new female lead. It is reported that there will be a love triangle among those three characters, about which Niti said that she absolutely didn’t know anything since she hadn’t even done any shot with Manjiri Pupala yet.
