"Koffee with Karan 6": Sidharth Malhotra On Breakup With Alia Bhatt: “We Haven’t Met After It"

In the latest episode of Koffee with Karan 6, director-producer Karan Johar's talk show, actor Sidharth Malhotra opened his heart about the broken relationship with his ex-girlfriend, actress Alia Bhatt.

Sidharth confided to Karan that he has felt no bitterness after the split and the two has never met each other since their break-up. The actor said:

The couple marked their first on-screen collaboration, also the duo's Bollywood debut, by Karan Johar's 2012 Student of the Year, together with Varun Dhawan. Four years later, the two reunited in Shakun Batra-directed 2016 Kapoor & Sons.

The duo reportedly started their romance in 2016. However, the close intimacy between Sidharth and Jacqueline Fernandez was said to be the cause of their break-up in 2017. Recently, the 34-year-old actor has also been rumoured to be dating Kiara Advani.

In the meantime, his former girlfriend, Alia Bhatt, is currently having a romantic relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, her next co-star in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The lovebirds have appeared side by side on several recent occasions such as the Umang event 2019 in Mumbai.

After a series of box-office failures including 2016 Baar Baar Dekho, 2017 A Gentleman and 2018 Aiyaary, Sidharth is presently busy filming Jabariya Jodi and Marjaavaan. He will share the screen space with Parineeti Chopra in Prashant Singh's Jabariya Jodi while co-starring with Rakul Preet Singh, Ritesh Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria in Milap Zaveri's Marjaavaan.

Meanwhile, Gully Boy, Alia Bhatt's highly anticipated movie with actor Ranveer Singh, is going to have its premiere on this Valentine's Day.
