Netflix is in talks with the ace filmmaker to host a dating show on its platform, some sources revealed.

From larger-than-life movies to a highly addictive talk show, Karan Johar is one Bollywood personality that keeps his audience hooked. The multi-talented star's never afraid of trying his hand in many fields of entertainment including filmmaking, directing, reality show and so on. And now, the popular TV host and prominent filmmaker are reported to make his digital debut in front of the camera for a non-fiction show by Netflix in the India market.

Netflix is in talks with the ace filmmaker to host a dating show on its platform, some sources revealed. Netflix declined to comment on the story.

Johar's upcoming film Takht, featuring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, will go on floors in November and the filmmaker will be able to shoot for the dating show at the same time.

Recently, Karan Johar, host of celebrity chat show Koffee with Karan, apologised for the controversy triggered by sexist, misogynist and racist's cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul's remarks. These comments caused justifiable outrage, which made the chat show Koffee With Karan come under fire, and the two cricketers receive a huge backlash.
