Colors’ Next To Star Vishal Vashishtha And Debina Bonnerjee As Leads

According to current reports, Vishal Vashishtha and Debina Bonnerjee have been roped in to headline an upcoming show. To be bankrolled by well-known television producers Alind Srivastava and Nissar Parvez, the show will hit the airwaves on Colors.

Though nothing much is known about the concept of the soap opera at the moment, some insiders reveal that it will be a supernatural drama. As we all know that suddenly supernatural shows have started casting their spell on audiences like never before. Resultantly, almost every leading general entertainment today has one or two such shows which fall into the category of horror or supernatural.

Since such shows are attracting huge eyeballs and doing wonders on TRP charts, every actor wants to be a part of them. In that scenario, it should not come as a surprise if Vishal and Debina also chose a supernatural series to make their comeback on the small screen.

If reports are to be believed, Colors is planning to pull the plug on its on-going supernatural series Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara. It stars gorgeous television actress Adaa Khan as the female lead. After axing the Rashmi Sharma Telefilms-produced series, Colors will give the same time slot to its upcoming supernatural series.

The yet-to-be-titled supernatural show will be produced under the banner of Peninsula Pictures. The same production house is also producing such successful shows as Aladin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga and Paramavatar Shri Krishna. Besides the forthcoming series, Peninsula Pictures is also producing Colors’ another upcoming show Ali Baba Aur Chalis Chor.
