Amid Coronavirus pandemic, from schools, businesses to government organizations, we are now trying to adapt the “new normal.” One of the most considerable changes is to shift from face-to-face meetings to virtual ones. Yes, no one is an exception even politicians.

The participants usually join the meeting while being at home, because of the familiar comfort they sometimes forget the seriousness of the meetings and that leads to some unexpected incidents. A Mexican senator was a case in point.

The politician named Martha Lucia Micher was on a Zoom meeting with the National Regeneration Movement political party’s members, the Bank of Mexico, and a group of journalists. As they discussed the Coronavirus pandemic’s impact on the country, Micher started removing her clothes. However, she didn’t know that her laptop’s webcam was still turned on.

Obviously, with the attendance of many journalists, the prompting screenshots of her mishap went viral in no time.

The 66-year-old Mexican senator later apologized for the incident but she also stated that she isn’t embarrassed by her body.

She took to her Twitter handle to say that she is a mom of four and breastfed all of them. Her children are now successful people in their own fields. She tweeted,

“I am a woman of 66 years of age who has breastfed four children, three of whom are today professional and responsible men, and I feel proud of my body for having nourished them.”

The pictures showing her going topless are doing the rounds on the Internet. Of course, bad comments are being flooded on social media.

Many colleagues and politicians of the Mexican senator also went on to show their support. They retweeted her letter on their social media handle.
