In 2017, Aamir Khan's film Dangal became a phenomenon in India cinema as it broke all the record, being the highest-grossing Indian film, the fifth highest grossing non-English film ever. With a budget of ₹70 crore, the film then collected ₹2,125.3 crore worldwide and also becoming the highest-grossing sports film in the world.
