Yash To Join Forces With Puri Jagannadh For A Bilingual Film?

Yash, who is known for his work in the Kannada film industry, has become a force to be reckoned with after the humongous success of his 2018 film KGF - Chapter 1. Originally made in Kannada, the gangster drama was dubbed in multiple Indian languages and did exceptionally well across the country.
After proving his acting prowess with KGF - Chapter 1, Yash is presently busy working on the second instalment of the film, titled KGF - Chapter 2.
While the handsome actor is busy filming KGF - Chapter 2, rumours are rife that after wrapping up his ongoing project, he might team up with well-known Telugu filmmaker Puri Jagannadh for a bilingual film to be made in Telugu and Kannada.
The latest film of Puri Jagannadh, iSmart Shankar (2019), has done terrific business at the box-office. After the riotous success of the movie, the makers have promised its sequel.
Meanwhile, Puri is set to team up with Kannada star Yash. The director has approached the actor and both have talked about a subject. Though the makers are yet to give official confirmation on the same, sources from the industry reveal that the movie will be hitting the shooting floor soon.
Puri Jagannadh is not new to Sandalwood as he has previously helmed a couple of Kannada movies. It will be interesting to see him direct Yash in his next. Meanwhile, Yash’s KGF - Chapter 2 is highly awaited by the audience. Touted to be a cinematic extravaganza, the film is made at a budget of ₹ 100 crore.
It is being directed by Prashanth Neel, who also helmed hit KGF: Chapter 1. Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead, which also has Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Avinash, Anant Nag and Raveena Tandon on its ensemble cast.
