Despite facing stiff competition from "Petta" starring the superstar Rajinikanth, "Viswasam" has captured the victory in Tamil box office clash thus far.

Currently, Viswasam starring the veteran Tamil actor Ajith Kumar has achieved the extraordinary triumph at the box office after 19 days of its release. The movie marks the successful on-screen reunion between Ajith and the director Siva.

Previously, the director-actor duo collaborated on the 2017 big-budget movie titled Vivegam. However, it was considered a box-office failure in Ajith's career. In spite of the previous project's flop, the Tamil superstar still decided to have yet another collaboration with Siva. It came as a complete surprise for the admirers at that time.
