Vijay Sethupathi, who was most recently seen in Chiranjeevi’s historical drama “Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy”, has reportedly signed yet another Telugu film.

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the busiest actors in the Tamil film industry. He will be having almost half a dozen Tamil films in his pocket at the moment. However, the superstar has also started exploring opportunities in film industries other than Tamil. He was most recently seen in superstar Chiranjeevi’s Telugu historical Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy (2019).
Though Vijay Sethupathi had a brief cameo in Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy, critics praised him and the audience loved his performance in the movie. The actor is currently busy shooting for his next Telugu film titled Uppena, which marks the acting debut of Panja Vaisshnav Tej.
And if latest reports are to be believed, Vijay Sethupathi has signed yet another Telugu film. Yes, you heard it absolutely right! According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi has been signed on to play the antagonist in Allu Arjun’s upcoming film with filmmaker Sukumar.
The project is tentatively called AA20. According to reports, the Rangasthalam (2018) director recently had a meeting with the superstar and gave a brief narration on the story and his characterization.
Though nothing much is known about the upcoming project, some media outlets report that the untitled film revolves around sanders smuggling. The story will be set against the backdrop of Seshachalam forest, which fall in the hilly region of Tirumala. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the film.
Talking about the female lead opposite Allu Arjun, no name has been confirmed by the makers as yet. However, rumours are rife that Rashmika Mandanna may come onboard to play the female lead. An official confirmation is awaited though.
