Vijay Deverakonda Refutes Marriage Rumors With Niharika Konidela In Suryakantham's Pre-Launch Event

Recently, rumours about a fairy-tale wedding of Telugu couple Vijay Deverakonda and Niharika Konidela has spread like wildfire. A couple of days earlier, Niharika, Varun Tej's sister and Sai Dharam Tej and Ram Charan's cousins, held a lavish pre-launch event of her upcoming movie Suryakantam. And the chief guest in Telugu-Tamil actress' celebration was none other than her rumoured fiancé, actor Vijay Deverakonda. Vijay's appearance has become the centre of attention at the bash.

With his presence at the event, Vijay dismissed all the widespread speculations as well as fans' expectations as saying that his presence was only as Niharika's brother. “Today I felt like a big brother that I should grace Niharika's film event,” confided the actor. Immediately, Niharika expressed her gratitude to the actor for indirectly helping her erase the rumours. A smile simultaneously coming to Niharika's face showed a sense of relief after Vijay's refutation of the marriage rumour.

Another vital reason for Vijay's unique presence was the absence of Niharika's brother and cousins due to their hectic schedule. Varun Tej, her brother, is busy filming in the US. Meanwhile, her cousins Allu Arjun is attending DJ Snake's performance in Hyderabad, whereas another cousin Ram Charan is presently in attendance at the Jaipur wedding of Tamil actress Aashritha, veteran actor Venkatesh Daggubati's beloved daughter. Therefore, Vijay Deverakonda has eventually decided to be there to support the promotion of Niharika's upcoming flick.

On the professional front, Vijay's forthcoming movie Dear Comrade will have its premiere in May 2019. In the meantime, Niharika's next flick, Suryakantham, is going to strike theatres on March 29.
