According to the latest trade estimates, at the Karnataka box office, the drama collected Rs 60 Lakh on Saturday (November 4, 2018). It showed the signs of dwindling.

The drama The Villain hit the screen on October 18 and got a favourable response on an opening day at the Karnataka box office.

The fact is that Shivanna is hitting the big name due to his latest drama The Villain. Indeed, he has starred in a variety of blockbusters establishing the actor as the pride of the Kannada film industry.

Most moviegoers showed their feelings towards the film is that The Villain is a decent film and especially it does justice to the “mass hero” image of Sudeep. However, there are a huge number of Shivanna’s fans feeling disaffected about the film as their idol has a smaller role with Deepanna.

Some fans even indicate that the screenplay is quite illogical, the WOM is mixed for example. It might stand to the reason for a drop in the collections.
