Their past ventures have performed exceptionally well at the cash counter. Critics and audiences have lauded them alike. Trade pundits are expecting that the upcoming offering by Thalapathy Vijay and Atlee will be as commercially and critically successful as their previous films have been.

While the shooting of the sports film is progressing at a brisk pace, fans are curious to know the official title of the movie. The film is just a few months away from its release date, but the makers are yet to announce its official title.

Though the producers are still tight-lipped about the title, several recent reports have claimed that Verithanam has been locked as the official title of the Thalapathy Vijay starrer. But if we take a look at current rumors doing the rounds, the makers have locked CM as the official title of the movie.

Where these reports have emerged from is unknown, but CM reportedly refers to Vijay's character name in the movie, which is said to be Clement Michael, a football player. However, an official confirmation is still awaited. If insiders are to be believed, the makers may officially announce the title of the film on the 45th birthday of Thalapathy Vijay, which is on 22nd June.

Made under the banner of AGS Entertainment, the upcoming Tamil film also features Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, and Yogi Babu, to name a few. It is slated to enter theatres on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
