Suriya and Jyothika seem in complete awe of Tamil anthology romantic film Sillu Karupatti. The movie has impressed the two popular South Indian actors to no end. Helmed by filmmaker Halitha Shameem, Sillu Karupatti has been receiving positive response from various corners. Suriya and Jyothika are the latest celebrities to heaps oodles of praises on the movie. Sillu Karupatti has been released by the 24 (2016) star through his production house, 2D Entertainment.

The actor watched the film along with Jyotika and both of them could not stop raving about the film. Suriya said that he totally loved Sillu Karupatti and was glad to be associated with a content-drive film like this. He shared his feelings on his micro-blogging site and wrote that Jyothika and he loved Sillu Karupatti. Halitha Shameem has portrayed human emotions honestly. The actor also added that he hopes everyone loves the movie as they did and that he was happy to be part of such good content!

The anthology film, which has faced an inordinate delay in its theatrical release, boasts of an ensemble cast which features the likes of Samuthirakani, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Sunaina, Leela Samson, Sara Arjun and Sree Ram in central characters. Pradeep Kumar has scored music and background score for the film. Aside from calling the shots, Halitha Shameem has also written the movie.

Meanwhile, actor-producer Suriya is looking forward to the release of his next film Soorarai Pottru. Also starring Aparna Balamurali, Jackie Shroff, Mohan Babu and Paresh Rawal in important characters, the hugely anticipated action drama is directed by Sudha Kongara. Produced by Suriya in association with Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga, Soorarai Pottru is scheduled to enter cinemas on 1^st May, 2020. The superstar is also doing a film with hit filmmaker Vetrimaaran.
