Bollywood Superstar actor Sanjay Dutt Debuted with his first Marathi film Baba. The actor steps into the regional cinema industry with his new venture. Sanjay Dutt is super excited and curious about the film Baba.
He took to the social media the first poster of the film and dedicated the film to his father. He wrote, “Dedicating our first Marathi film Baba to the person who remained steadfast in my life through everything! Love you Dad.”
Baba features Bollywood and regional cinemas star Deepak Dobriyal in the lead. The director of the film is Raj Gupta. The movie explores the bitter-sweet relationship between a father and his son. Deepak Dobriyal is an Indian film and theatre actor.
He had appeared in many Bollywood hits such as Omkara (2006), Tanu Weds Manu (2011), Dabangg 2 (2012), Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) and Hindi Medium (2017).
The Baba director Raj Gupta is an Indian film writer & director, best known for his work in Hindi Bollywood cinemas. He made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed Aamir (2008). He was a writer and director of No One Killed Jessica (2011), based on the true story of the murder of to release on 24 May 2019.
Earlier, on Father’s Day, Sanjay Dutt had posted a special message and wrote, “Grateful and proud to be blessed with these beautiful children who give my life so much meaning and purpose. Every day, I try to be as good a father to them as my dad was to me! #ProudDad #FathersDay.”
Sanjay Dutt father Sunil Dutt was a veteran of Bollywood Industry. He was an actor, producer, director, and politician. He has worked in Blockbuster films such as Sadhna, Ek Phool Char Kaante, Gumraah, Mera Saaya, Mother India, and Munna Bhai MBBS.
He was last seen in the Bollywood movie Lage Raho Munna Bhai alongside Sanjay. Sunil Dutt had a deep and close relationship with his son Sanjay. 1968, Sunil Dutt was honored with the Padma Shri by the government. He died of a heart attack on May 25, 2005, at his residence in Mumbai.
Sanjay Dutt has been through many ups and downs in his personal and professional life. These phases have been witnessed by the world since the late 1980s. Be it his Bollywood debut that was clouded by the grief of his mother’s demise or his subsequent battle with drugs, Sanjay’s life has always been an open book.
But through it all, his father Sunil Dutt stood by him. Even when Sanjay Dutt faced jail time for involvement in the 1993 bomb blast case, Sunil Dutt was there to support his son.
