South Star Ram Charan Launches India’s Largest Theatre At Nellore Andhra Pradesh

One of the most famous actors, producer, dancer or Telugu film industry Ram Charan is going to launch massive theatre in Nellore Andhra Pradesh.
It is going to one of the largest theatres in India. This big theatre screens in Nellore called EPIQ is also been talked about. It is also called the Baahubali of screens and the first of its kind in our country.
Qube Cinema had introduced the EPIQ Screen a couple of days back and had Ram Charan launching the cinema today. Plans for making a shopping area and food hall around the screen are also being talked about.
Ram Charan confessed at the launch event that he hopes to watch his upcoming film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy over there.
A portal quoted Saaho’s cinematographer, Madhie saying, “EPIQ will have a terrific impact on the movie industry, giving us greater scope in how we produce feature films. Knowing that audiences can have an immersive experience will increase the creative possibilities for us; in terms of visuals, sound and more.”
It also quoted the press release and wrote, “The state-of-the-art technologies make EPIQ the best in the business including 4K RGB laser projection, Dolby Atmos Immersive Audio, a 1:1.9 screen aspect ratio that is optimized for both scope and flat movies with razor-sharp images, higher brightness, increased contrast and a wider colour gamut.”
While the mega screen will be a 670-seater, the other screens will have 170 seats each. “We are expecting to draw an audience from around the area and those commuting via National Highway (NH) 16.”
CEO of Qube Cinemas, Harsh Rohatgi was quoted saying, “As a premium large format of exceptional quality, EPIQ will have the power to inspire a revival in how people engage with movies, drawing them back to the theatre for an incredible experience. We are in talks with exhibitors across the country to add new Qube EPIQ screens and hope to announce several upcoming sites before the end of this year.”
Ram Charan rose to prominence with a starring role opposite Kajal Aggarwal in S.S. Rajamouli’s fantasy film Magadheera (2009), which is one of the Highest Grossing Telugu films of all time.
He won several accolades for this film, including that he won the Filmfare Awards for the Best Actor in Telugu.
