Rajinikanth-Starrer Film 2.0 And Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan Are Slated To Release In China

Amitabh Bachchan’s film is expected to hit the Chinese screens on December 28, while Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is bound to release later, in May 2019.

Huge-budget Indian blockbusters, Thugs of Hindostan and 2.0, are slated to release in one of the biggest film markets in the whole world, China. Amitabh Bachchan’s film is expected to hit the Chinese screens on December 28, while Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is bound to release later, in May 2019.

The Chinese version of film Thugs of Hindostan’s poster was unveiled by Taran Adarsh, a film trade analyst on social media.  He tweeted,

Meanwhile, the filmmakers of 2.0 also confirmed the distributors and the release date in China. The makers, in a statement, shared, “The dubbed and subtitled versions are scheduled for release in China in 10,000 theatres with a whopping 56,000 screens, including 47,000 3D screens.” 2.0 is about to release in connection with HY Media team, and it has become the greatest 3D release of a foreign movie in China.

For the uninitiated, Thugs of Hindostan, based on an English novel written by Philip Meadow Taylor in 1993 titled Confessions of a Thug, tells a story of a gang posing a tough challenge for the British Empire in the 19th century. Other than Amitabh Bachchan, the film also features Katrina Kaif and Aamir Khan as the leading roles.

Directed by filmmaker S. Shankar, 2.0 is an impressive 3D sci-fi movie which is about how the lives of living beings have been messed with technology. Following this, Dr. Richard will be played by Akshay Kumar, and actor Rajinikanth plays Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti. The film was released in the entire state on November 29.
