R. Parthiban & Vadivelu Join Hands For “Bharathi Kannamma 2”

R. Parthiban and Vadivelu have delivered a number of successful comic-capers in the past. The duo has joined hands once again for a sequel to Bharathi Kannamma 2.

R. Parthiban and Vadivelu are certainly one of the most successful comedian duos of Kollywood. The two have worked together on a series of successful projects over the years and the hit comedian duo always manages to tickle the funny bones of the audience.

R. Parthiban and Vadivelu have given the Kollywood industry few unforgettable movies of their careers, including Kakkai Siraginilae (2000), Vetri Kodi Kattu (2000), Ivan (2002), Kadhal Kirukkan (2003), and Kundakka Mandakka (2005), to name a few. Also, with their hit films they have proven their craft as comedians and actors. And now it seems that the actors’ fans have a reason to rejoice.

Yes, if reports are to be believed, it seems that the duo is all set to join forces together for yet another film Bharathi Kannamma 2. As the title aptly suggests, the movie is a sequel to the R. Parthiban and Vadivelu starrer 1997 film Bharathi Kannamma. Filmmaker Cheran, who has been working on the sequel of this film, has brought them together once again and it seems that the film is going to be a laugh riot. R. Parthiban took it to his Twitter page and went on to break the news of them collaborating together.

While an official confirmation is still awaited, fans are really excited to read the tweet that R. Parthiban shared on the micro-blogging site. R. Parthiban and Vadivelu came together and joined forces for Bharathi Kannamma directed by Cheran in 1997 which marked the debut of Cheran as a director and screen writer. The director received praises from all over as his debut film was well received critically and commercially upon release. The reunion of the two is bound to entertain their fans to the hilt. More details on the upcoming film are expected to arrive soon.
