Prabhas and S.S. Rajamouli have worked together on “Baahubali: The Beginning” and “Baahubali: The Conclusion”. The duo is currently busy with their next films “Jaan” and “RRR” respectively.

Prabhas has starred in several successful films over the years, but the kind of success that the S.S. Rajamouli-directed Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017) yielded for the superstar was just unparalleled. The actor and S. S. Rajamouli created history with the Baahubali franchise and made India proud on the world map.

The duo is currently working on their respective films. While Prabhas is doing a romantic action movie tentatively titled Jaan with director Radha Krishna Kumar, S.S. Rajamouli is directing Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in his next directorial outing RRR, which also has cameos by Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt.

Prabhas & S.S. Rajamouli decide not to clash at the box-office

According to reports, Prabhas has already completed the major portion of his film. We hear that S.S. Rajamouli will be completing RRR, which has faced a series of delays in the past, around the same time. When people came to know that Jaan and RRR will be wrapped up around the same time, they wondered if a big box-office clash was in the offing.

Sadly, for those anticipating a clash at the ticket counter, there is a disappointing piece of news because Rajamouli and Prabhas are very much on the same page about the release of their respective movies. A source in the know informs a publication that the duo will make sure that both the films do not lock the horns. They have decided there will be a gap of at least two months between their films.

RRR was earlier scheduled to release in 2o2o, but now the makers have deferred its release to January 8, 2021. The Prabhas starrer, which also features Pooja Hegde in the lead role, was slated to arrive in cinemas on Pongal 2021, but now it will be hitting theatres later in 2021. An official announcement is awaited though.
