Boney Kapoor entered the South Indian film industry to fulfill his wife, Sridevi's wish. Nerkonda Paarvai has been released featuring Thala Ajith. In an interview, Boney Kapoor revealed that it was Sridevi's wish that he should make a film with actor Thala Ajith.

The remake of Amitabh Bachchan's Pink, the movie has received a good response so far. The producer also shared his wife's contribution to the South Indian film industry.

Nerkonda Paarvai is directed by H.Vinoth and the film has opened to a positive response by the audience and critics alike. Vijay Balan plays a cameo role as Ajith's wife in the film.
