In addition to that, the actor refuses the belief that multi-starters will decrease the risks when it comes to the box office. “The more stars a film casts, the more pressure it gets. People will expect more when you see a lot of big stars on the poster. If it does not meet their expectation, they will say that it booms.” He continues, “For me to say, making a film is somehow working on a startup. Everyone works hard together with a common belief, follows the director’s vision to achieve a big goal.

The truth, however, is that most startups fail. Films are in the same cases. It is a wrong notion that an interesting film will be successful in box office. I learned a lesson from Chandralekha, a film I made in the ‘90s that I had never thought it would be a flop. Sadly it did. It was unable to continue within the first week.” “Sometimes it does not work even when you did it best and there is no clear explanation. However, just continue trying hard, focus on your mission and you will get what you deserve someday.”, he concludes.

Nani Can Conquer The Balance Between Romantic And Realistic Film

Back to the Devadas, Nagarjuna reveals that it was the first time that he had the chance to work with Nani. “I heard about his name in some films but didn’t know him in person. As you may know, I am not interested in raw and realistic films. However, Nani surprised me by balancing realistic and magic elements in his films. If we need a word to describe this guy, it must be amazing!”. Devadas had a good start at the box office and went beyond the team’s expectation thanks to the great vision of director Sriram Aditya. “The whole team worked together and hold a strong belief that the film will be a blockbuster as the drama and the script convey the vibe of Rajkumar Hirani.
