The new posters of the project Indian 2 starring the actor Kamal Haasan are revealed by the film producer last Friday. In one of three pictures rolled out by the producer, we catch sight of an old vigilante Senapthy (played by Kamal Haasan) with an extremely sharp look sitting pensively at his desk. Meanwhile, the desk is filled with the old document files and a laptop. At the top of the poster is a three-word slogan: “older, wiser, deadlier”.
With the release of such a mysterious poster, Indian 2's filmmaker has set the social network alight in this year's Pongal festival.
India 2 is the follow-up to the 1996 blockbuster, also starring the actor Kamal Haasan and directed by S. Shankar. Due to the character's reputation existing from the previous installment, the film, though at the beginning of its announcement, has attracted a lot of interest from the admirers. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film also features Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. However, unfortunately, two stunning actresses Urmila Matondkar and Manisha Koirala, reportedly, don't make their return to this sequel.
Additionally, the composer-singer Anirudh Ravichandran has been recruited to compose its soundtracks. This is the first time Anirudh collaborates with Shankar. The movie also welcomes the expected reunion between Kamal Haasan and Shankar after 22 years since their 1996 project, Indian.
Besides, rumor has it that India 2 is the final project in Kamal Haasan's cinema field. After this film, he will withdraw from the entertainment industry to focus on his political career.
