Actor Pallavi Subhash Reveals She Wants To Focus On Films Now

The actor is relatively excited with this comeback to the regional film industry, and she is seemingly looking forward to contributing more.

Actress Pallavi Subhash will come back to the screens with a Marathi film titled Ghar Hota Menache after a long break. The star has begun her career with the film Tumhari Disha directed by Ekta Kapoor since 2004. She then starred in a host of Hindi shows and soaps. 2005 was the year marking her Marathi film debut with the movie Kunku Zaili Vairi, and she was last seen in the film Happy Journey of the director Sachin Kundalkar in 2014.

Pallavi, in a statement, said that she wants to concentrate on films at the moment and won’t do television now. She explained she wants to able to focus her 100% on the films.

The actor is relatively excited with this comeback to the regional film industry, and she is seemingly looking forward to contributing more. The actor reveals she has been clear what she wants and being a female lead or a protagonist doesn’t seem a matter. The actor further added she has to enjoy the part and the character rather than the length of the character.

The star also provided an example of Priyanka-starrer film Kashibai in order to show how a film could stay with the audience. Pallavi then expressed her desire to be remembered by the viewers like the case of Priyanka’s film.

Pallavi also heaped praise on her co-star, actress Alka Kubal, by stating that veteran actor Alka is an incredibly fabulous actor. According to her, this senior actor is relatively encouraging and cooperative. “I enjoyed working with her,” says Pallavi.

Regarding the #MeToo movement, she shared that fortunately, she hasn’t experienced such an incident. Though, she added, she is genuinely proud of women who could come out and speak about their stories as it takes so much courage and guts to do.
