2018 have been quite a great journey for movie-geeks. In January, it began with the epic Padmaavat, which features Sanjay Leela Bhansali and opened to packed screens. That was just the start of the upcoming roller coaster ride. In the Summer, a huge number of tickets sold as Sanju with Ranbir Kapoor hitting the screen like a phoenix rising from ashes. At the end of the year, 2.0 rounded it up with such a record-breaking ticket sales and all seats filled for weeks. Undoubtedly, all of the aforementioned three movies made it to top 10 searched films, according to Google’s Year in Search 2018.

  1. 2.0

The film follows the story of the scientist Rajinikanth who brings together pieces of the Rajinikanth humanoid robot and re-builds it. Together, they confront the villain Pakshi Rajan, an ornithologist who wants to retaliate on cell phone users. Finally, the world is saved in this biggest blockbuster of 2018.

  1. Baaghi 2

This sequel is packed with action scenes in Rambo-style action flick and the 6-packed hot body of Tiger Shroff. Tiger played the character of Ronnie, a captain in the Indian Army forces. His journey fighting against dark forces to save his ex-girlfriend’s kidnapped daughter.

  1. Race 3

This third installment of the Race trilogy is the mix of two step-brothers, a stud farm, and a hot girl. It’s about a family experiencing some challenges that test their relationships and loyalties after some shocking revelations.

  1. Avengers: Infinity War

This is probably the biggest and most awaited hit of Marvel this year. Fans are so satisfied as the film brings almost all of the superheroes in the MCU together to fight back Thanos, the most formidable enemy in the whole universe.

  1. Tiger Zinda Hai

This film features Salman Khan, playing Tiger, and Katrina Kaif, playing Zoya. The two teams up to rescue a group of nurse hostages… because why not?

The controversial life of actor Sanjay Dutt is portrayed in the biopic Sanju. The man is wronged by everyone in his life and all of his film career, jail sentence, and personal life is compellingly illustrated in this film.

  1. Padmaavat

The Queen of Mewar named Padmavati is a beautiful woman who is married to a noble king. The bad guy Ranveer Singh forms an obsessive love for her but then is defeated by the king. This film is inspired by the eponymous epic poem, Padmaavat.

  1. Black Panther

It is not surprised at all to see another triumphant Marvel film of 2018 in this list. The king T’Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman, returns to his kingdom Wakanda to inherits the throne after his father died. Of course there always has to be a villain in a superhero movie, and in this case, it’s the long lost relative of T’Challa, who comes back trying to take over his nation.

  1. Dhadak

Dhadak is the remake of the Marathi film Sairaat and it features two new stars, one is Jahnvi Kapoor, and the other one is Ishaan Khatter. The two’s characters are a modern version of Romeo and Juliet – having to deal with the crossfire of castes and honour killings.

  1. Deadpool 2

This is the third Marvel film and the last to make it to the top 10 searched film list in this year. Deadpool, played by the wholesome Ryan Reynolds, assembles a team of fellow mutant to rescue a youngster with supernatural power. The young boy is gone after by Cable, a genetically enhanced mercenary soldier travels back from the future to prevent the scenario where his daughter is killed by the boy.
