Dhruv Vikram Teams Up With Mari Selvaraj For His Next?

Dhruv Vikram, who is the son of Tamil superstar Vikram, made his acting debut with “Adithya Varma”, an official remake of Telugu blockbuster “Arjun Reddy”.
Dhruv Vikram, who is the son of Tamil superstar Vikram, made his silver screen debut with “Adithya Varma” (2019) last year. The movie was an official remake of Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy (2017), originally starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles.
If fresh reports are to be believed, Dhruv Vikram is now gearing up for his next film. Though nothing much is known about the upcoming film, news has it that it will be directed by well-known filmmaker Mari Selvaraj.
The Pariyerum Perumal (2018) fame director is currently shooting for his upcoming directorial offering Karnan. The film has Tamil superstar Dhanush playing the lead role. Malayalam actor Rajisha Vijayan is playing the female lead in the film. The shooting for Karnan has been progressing at a brisk pace and the makers are looking at wrapping it up by March-end.
The latest buzz has it that right after finishing his ongoing film Karnan, Mari Selvaraj will start working on his next directorial outing with newcomer Dhruv Vikram. As mentioned above, Dhruv Vikram made his powerful debut in Tamil cinema with Arjun Reddy. Produced by E4 Entertainment, the film starred Banita Sandhu as the leading lady with Priya Anand also essaying an important role. The film was received well by the audience and critics, and now everyone is waiting for the next film of Dhruv.
According to reports, the upcoming film starring Dhruv Vikram will be directed by Mari Selvaraj while E4 Entertainment will bankroll it. However, an official announcement confirming the same is highly awaited.
For the uninitiated, Mari Selvaraj made his directorial debut as a director with the critically and commercially successful film Pariyerum Perumal after working as an assistant director on such notable movies as Kattradhu Thamizh (2007), Thanga Meenkal (2013) and Taramani (2017).
