Tamil Superstar Dhanush Teams Up With Durai Senthilkumar For “Pattas”

Dhanush, who was last seen in the Hollywood film “The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir”, has joined hands with Durai Senthilkumar after a gap of three years. They last collaborated on the 2016 film “Kodi”.

Dhanush has joined forces with filmmaker Durai Senthilkumar for the forthcoming film Pattas. The first-look poster of the movie was unveiled on Sunday to coincide with the actor’s birthday. Within hours of being rolled out, the poster went viral on social media and received positive responses from the audience.

In the poster, Tamil superstar Dhanush can be seen dressed in a colorful jacket and T-shirt. He teams up his look with bright yellow shades. Many people on social media pointed out that the actor resembled one of his characters from the 2015 film Anegan wherein he played a game developer.

Pattas stars Dhanush in a dual role that of a father and son. Talking about the female leads, Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada have been paired opposite the two characters of the superstar in the film. Dhanush also got trained in martial arts for one of his characters.

Sharing some details on the project, director Durai Senthilkumar says,

Talking about choosing Pattas as the title of the film, the director adds,

Dhanush also has two other projects lined up for release, one with director Mari Selvaraj and another with director Ram Kumar. Besides, he also has Vada Chennai 2 with filmmaker Vetrimaaran. The actor has reportedly also signed his next Hindi film with filmmaker Aanand L Rai.
