"Dhanush Is Easy To Approach", Says "The Extraordinary" Star Berenice Bejo

Dhanush's new release The Extraordinary Journey Of the Fakir is all set to hit the theatres this week and the lead actress, Berenice Bejo, is nothing but hyper excited about her new project. The movie has everything exotic location, an almost believable fairy tale story, a good actor and obviously the flavors of Indian cinema in the form of songs and dance.

The film is based on the eponymous book by Romain Puertolas, The Extraordinary Journey Of the Fakir who got trapped in an Ikea wardrobe. The director of the film is Ken Scott. The film was shot in four different countries like India, France, Italy, and Libya. The film released in the country Europe on May 30, 2018, and now it is all set to release in India.

Talking about the movie, the actress revealed that before signing such a big movie she always get to know the director and then the story and only then she decides whether or not to sign the project. And with Ken Scott helming the project it came as a no-brainer when Berenice jumped into it the moment she was approached.

Actor Dhanush plays the character of Ajatshatru who has lived all his life in a small Mumbai city neighborhood, is a street magician and trickster who makes people into believing that he possesses special magic powers. After his mother's death, he tries to find his lost father in Paris with a 100 Euro note.

The character of Dhanush experiences the wide-ranging adventurous roller coaster ride in the film. The star cast of the film is Berenice Bejo as Nelly Marnay, Erin Moriarty as Marie Riviere, Barkhad Abdi as Wiraj, Amrita Sant as Ajatshatru's mom.

This film marks the international debut for the Tamil superstar Dhanush. Berenice also explains that Dhanush was easy to approach as he stayed humble and calm throughout the entire shoot of the film. Talking about the calmness the actor brought to the set, Berenice also revealed about his focus of staying in the character throughout the entire schedule.

The comedy-adventure film was premiered at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) in 2018. Its poster was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival a year ago. Other than the upcoming venture, Dhanush is currently busy with Vetrimaaran's film Asuran, which has Manju Warrier in the lead role.
