Chiyaan Vikram Starrer “Cobra” To Arrive In Theatres On May 22?

Chiyaan Vikram recently finished shooting for the Kolkata schedule of “Cobra”. The film is being directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu.

Chiyaan Vikram, one of the leading actors in Tamil cinema, was last seen in the Rajesh M. Selva-directed action thriller Kadaram Kondan which hit the marquee in July 2019. It has been more than half a year since the dashing superstar of Tamil films has not graced the silver screen and his fans have been waiting for his next release with bated breath.

If fresh reports are to be believed, his next release will be Cobra which may end up hitting theatres in May 2020. As we all know that Chiyaan Vikram has been shooting for the upcoming film with director Ajay Gnanamuthu. After wrapping up the Kolkata schedule recently, the filmmaker is gearing up for the next schedule of the movie.

Now, as per reports doing the rounds, the Chiyaan Vikram starrer Cobra is being readied for its theatrical release on May 22, ahead of the festival of Eid which falls on the next day. However, the makers are yet to make an official confirmation on the release date of the much-awaited flick.

Talking about the first look of Cobra, we hear that the makers are planning to drop it soon. Director Ajay Gnanamuthu has assured fans via his Twitter account in a post last week that the first look of the film will be out in February itself. According to reports, Cobra is currently being shot in Chennai, and the team is planning to shoot their upcoming schedule in Europe and Russia.

In addition to Chiyaan Vikram, Cobra also boasts the presence of Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan and KS Ravikumar on its cast. The Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman has come onboard to score the music for the movie, while Sivakumar Vijayan is cranking the camera.

Cobra is produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio. The film will reportedly be a multi-lingual one. It will release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. More updates are expected to arrive soon.
