AR Rahman To Score Music For Vikram's Film With Ajay Gnanamuthu

Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman has been signed on to score music for the next film of Tamil superstar Vikram. The untitled project is being helmed by Ajay Gnanamuthu.

AR Rahman, one of the most popular music composers across the world who has even won two Academy Awards, has been roped in to score music for the next film of Tamil superstar Vikram. Presently dubbed as Vikram 58, the movie will be directed by filmmaker R Ajay Gnanamuthu, who has previously helmed successful Tamil films such as Demonte Colony (2015) and Imaikkaa Nodigal (2018). The Vikram starrer untitled film will be his third outing as a filmmaker.
With music maestro AR Rahman joining the team, the film has become even bigger. Talking about how the legendary music composer was brought onboard, creative producer Arun K Viswa told an Indian daily that when the discussion regarding the music of the film came about, everyone unanimously suggested the name of AR Rahman.
The creative producer also informs that the team is set to roll the camera in the first week of September. The film will be shot in and around Chennai, Mumbai, and parts of Kerala. For the international schedule, the team has locked Europe.
