Since Allu Arjun is returning to cinemas after a long gap, he is going all out to promote Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo ahead of its theatrical release. During one of the media interactions, when the superstar was asked about his views on attacks on Jawaharlal Nehru University students, he condemned the attacks and said that he was disturbed by the brutal incident and there should be an ideal solution to it. The actor also added that non-violence should always be the right way.

However, when Allu Arjun was asked about his opinion on the ongoing protests against CAA and NRC, the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo star refrained from commenting on the same. He said that they are entertainers and if they say anything about any issues, it will have an impact and people take it very seriously. Hence, they talk about such serious issues very carefully.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, produced by Allu Aravind and S. Radha Krishna under their banners Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations, is scheduled to roll into theatres on 12th January, 2020.
