There is no denying the fact that Akshay Kumar is one of the most professional artists working in the tinsel town of Bollywood. Perhaps that is the reason he manages to complete at least 3-4 films in a single year. Akshay Kumar may be injured and running a fever, but nothing can stop him from fulfilling all his commitments on time.
Recently, the superstar was seen partying hard with the entire team of Housefull. Despite being sick, he also shot for his immediate release Good Newwz, which is being helmed by debutant filmmaker Raj Mehta for Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was in Chandigarh, also returned to resume shooting with Khiladi Kumar.
“Akshay was sick, but he still came to shoot for the film. He was running a fever and the makers thought that he would not make it this time. But the actor prefers to shoot early morning by six or seven am, and he kept to his discipline in reporting for work. It actually makes it difficult for other actors who have no excuses to offer when he comes to work like a professional,” says a source from the sets.
Right after partying with the team of Housefull, Akshay Kumar headed off to the shoot of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. Also starring Katrina Kaif in the lead role, the cop drama is scheduled to release in March 2020.
Similarly, Ranbir Kapoor is also a thorough professional. The actor was injured playing football on Sunday, but he wore a sling and went off to Manali to shoot for Dharma Productions’ much-awaited fantasy drama Brahmastra with rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Also starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in important roles, Brahmastra is being directed by filmmaker Ayan Mukerji. The big-ticket film is expected to buzz into theatres in 2020.
