High school time might be one of the most memorable periods of everyone, but it wasn’t the easiest thing for many individuals to get through. That was also the case with Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. Even though she is a former Miss World and also an A-listed star, she still admitted that going to an American high school was rough for her. Priyanka shared that she was frequently bullied because of her skin color.
PeeCee opened up on her experiences at high schools in Iowa, Massachusetts, and NYC, in an interview with the Associated Press.
She said,
However, it was not the first time Priyanka went on the public to talk about this topic as once in 2012, she admitted she was a “gawky kid” having “white marks” on the leg, but she knew how to embrace her differences and make them become advantages over the peers.
